In 2006, Infratec was retained by the Paulding County Board of Commissioners (BoC) to provide design and construction management services for expansion of the Pumpkinvine Creek WRF to 1.2-mgd. The project primarily consisted of the installation of 0.5-mgd MBR equipment, the conversion of an existing SBR basin into an aerobic digester, further additions to the plant U.V. disinfection system, installation of a new 3-million gallon reject/equalization tank, and improvements to the solid handling facility. Additional basin modifications and site improvements were also incorporated into the design and membrane equipment was pre-purchased by the BoC prior to construction.
